Power Belongs to God

He has made the earth by His power,
He has established the world by His wisdom,
And has stretched out the heavens at His discretion.
          Jeremiah 10:12

Trust in the Lord forever,
For in YAH, the Lord, is everlasting strength.
          Isaiah 26:4

The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
          Zephaniah 3:17

And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power.
          1 Corinthians 6:14

God has spoken once,
Twice I have heard this:
That power belongs to God.
          Psalm 62:11

How great is the power and might of our Lord! He has made all things by His power and great wisdom. He truly is an amazing God, in whom we can trust. His everlasting strength will not - and cannot - fail! He is eternal.

We can read all throughout the Scriptures of the great God that we worship and serve; how He is indeed the Mighty One, and how he is willing and able to save us from our sins. He made available to us His saving grace and mercy through His Son, where we can be brought back to Him. And He rejoices over those who come to Him. God is powerful and merciful!

God has the power to raise people from the dead. How great is that? Jesus displayed that power and God displayed it by raising Jesus from the dead. And He has promised that those who are faithful can also receive that great and good gift of being raised from the dead to live with Him forevermore. Truly power does belong to God!
